How does your city inform your practice? Cities deeply impact my work, as they provide a specific context to dispute, critique, embrace, acknowledge and/or amplify. In my experience cities can hold whole other cities within themselves, the histories often have histories, and every person, group, story builds a tapestry of infinite realities and memories. When I am curating or producing projects I am conscious of the people I am working with, while equally considering the setting, history, and context - as these influences provide the foundations for the work to build from and be in dialogue with.

How have cloud communities helped you?

Being a part of cloud communities has provided a huge resource and support in finding amazing artists and community organisers across the world. Sometimes it takes some research, but as someone who travels often and believes in having their work travel with purpose, this access is what helps the work survive, and helps me learn about new places and myself symbiotically.

How do you determine success?

Achieving what feels right to you, regardless of who sees it. If you complete or start something that feels true to you, that’s the success to me.
